Furniture stores in the UAE online: who advertises, at what price, and how sofas and decor sell in Dubai

The UAE home and furniture market is two markets in one category: accessories and decor at a small price, bought straight from the ad, and large furniture at a price that needs a conversation. We read 3,285 recent Arabic home ads targeting the UAE from 812 advertiser pages (between 2026-10-24 and 2026-11-03) and compared them with 3,897 ads in Saudi Arabia. The result: wider prices, more video, and many small advertisers.

Key takeaways

  • Half of the priced ads sit between AED 100 and 999, with a median of 449: the widest range among our UAE categories.
  • 84% of home ads in the UAE are video, against 70% in Saudi Arabia.
  • WhatsApp without a store on 24% of the ads, Shopify 6%, Salla <1%.
  • The market is spread out: 812 pages for 3,285 ads, and no advertiser owns the category.

The UAE home market: many small advertisers

Home and furniture take 8% of all the Arabic ads that targeted the UAE, slightly more than Saudi Arabia (7%). But the clearest trait is how spread out it is: 812 pages for 3,285 ads, fewer ads per page than fashion (665 pages for 5,393) and perfume in the UAE itself. Small showrooms, carpenters and decor shops, each with a few ads.

And the UAE home ad travels: 13% of it also runs in Qatar, 12% in Kuwait and 12% in Bahrain, while a Saudi home ad mostly stays in Saudi Arabia (only 7% in Qatar). Many UAE home stores ship across the Gulf. For the Gulf picture read the home and furniture ads guide; for the Saudi market, Furniture stores in Saudi Arabia.

The offers: video and urgency, few instalments

Video on 84% of the ads, more than Saudi Arabia (70%): the sofa is shown from every side, the table assembled in front of the camera. A discount or an offer on 49%, "limited time" on 29% (Saudi Arabia 17%), a gift on 11%.

Cash on delivery on 18%, free delivery on 11%, and instalments on only 3%, fewer than Saudi Arabia (7%). That is the opening: a quarter of the priced ads are at AED 999 or more, and a piece at that price is waiting for "split it with Tabby or Tamara".

Where the ads lead: the chat first

WhatsApp without a store is the first route: 24% of UAE home ads, then Shopify 6% and EasyOrders 1%, with Salla almost absent (<1%). In Saudi Arabia, WhatsApp 32%, then Salla 12%.

The buttons: "Shop now" on 55% (Saudi Arabia 37%), "WhatsApp message" on 23%, "Send message" on 3%. The buyer asks about size, colour, delivery to the floor and assembly, and the chat answers. How to build a WhatsApp ad that sells: WhatsApp ads.

Prices in dirhams: two markets in one category

Of 195 ads that stated a price in dirhams (a fairly small sample): the lower quartile up to AED 100, the median 449, the upper quartile from AED 999. In Saudi Arabia, in riyals: 119, 250 and 595; across the Gulf, 99, 249 and 500.

The UAE's lower quartile is cheaper, and its upper quartile reaches much further. The UAE mixes accessories and decor at impulse prices with large furniture (sofas, bedroom sets, outdoor seating) at prices you do not see as often in Saudi ads. Decide which market you are in before writing the ad: the first sells with a "Shop now" button, the second with a chat, photos from real homes and instalments.

What usually lasts in this sort: made-to-measure sofas and majlis seating, full bedroom sets, garden and rooftop furniture before winter, and lighting and rugs for a quick refresh. The ad that lasts shows the piece in a real home and states the delivery and assembly time.

Try other words in the same sort ("كنب" sofa, "سجاد" rug, "مطبخ" kitchen), and open the store page or WhatsApp link behind the ad. For every category in the UAE: Trending in the UAE.

Practical steps and copy templates for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

  1. Pick your market: a piece under the median sells from the store, a piece above the upper quartile sells through a chat and instalments.
  2. Video in a real home: the size against the room, the material up close, the assembly.
  3. State delivery and assembly and how long they take for each emirate: they are the buyer's first question.
  4. If you ship across the Gulf, try the ad in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain: your competitors do.
