  • EasyOrders is the third platform with 6% of the ads, against 1% of Saudi ads overall: this is where single-product pages live.

Electronics in Saudi Arabia: a market of payment trust

Of the study's 18,209 electronics ads across the Gulf, 4,938 targeted Saudi Arabia, followed by the UAE (3,849) and Kuwait (3,362). Within Saudi Arabia, electronics is one of the biggest categories after fashion and hair care.

Three things set Saudi electronics ads apart:

  • Reassuring payment: cash on delivery, instalments and free delivery are all above the Saudi average.
  • Single-product page platforms: EasyOrders shows up here more than in any other Saudi category, with LightFunnels alongside it.
  • Long copy: a median of 95 words against 45 for Saudi ads: the specs get written down.

For the category across the Gulf and its product types, read Electronics ads.

Cash on delivery and instalments: how electronics sell

  • Cash on delivery in 26%, about one ad in four, against 12% in Saudi Arabia overall. Across Gulf electronics ads the share is higher still (36%): Saudi Arabia is more used to paying online than its neighbours, but an unknown device still sells on "pay when it arrives".
  • Instalments (Tabby, Tamara) in 9%, against 4% in Saudi Arabia overall: the higher the price, the more instalments appear.
  • A discount or an offer in 48%, "limited time" in 22%, and a gift (a charger, a case, extra earbuds) in 14%.
  • Free delivery in 21%, against 10% in Saudi Arabia overall.

And 73% of the ads are video: the device is switched on in front of the camera. How we read these signals: Ad offers in numbers.

Where the ads lead: WhatsApp, Salla and EasyOrders

WhatsApp without a store first (16%), then Salla (11%), then EasyOrders (6%), LightFunnels (5%) and Shopify (4%).

EasyOrders is the striking one: of the 748 ads leading to EasyOrders in all of Saudi Arabia, 311 are electronics ads. These are "single-product page" platforms with an order form and cash on delivery, and many of their users test one product with many ads, a common dropshipping model (The GCC dropshipping market). If you are a real store with a warranty and local stock, that is what sets you apart from them: say it in the ad.

The buttons: "Shop now" on 49%, "Order now" on 18% (the order-form button), and "WhatsApp message" on 15%.

Prices, and who advertises

Of 894 ads that stated a price in riyals: the lower quartile up to SAR 103, the median 238, the upper quartile from SAR 455. A very wide range: at the bottom, accessories and small gadgets sold on impulse; at the top, phones and appliances that only sell with instalments or a known brand. Advertised electronics prices in Saudi Arabia are higher than across the Gulf (Gulf median SAR 200).

4,938 ads from 1,103 pages: the advertisers include brand agents, big electronics retailers and thousands of small sellers. To see who advertises now, open the Advertisers screen in GccFY with the Saudi filter and a word from your category, and check each advertiser before you treat it as a competitor.

Active ads in Saudi Arabia with the word "سماعات" (headphones), sorted by longest running in GccFY.

Headphones are a good example of the category: a small product, an accessible price, shown on video. Search the word for your product (سماعات, شاحن, ساعة ذكية, مكنسة) and sort by longest running, then open the store page behind each ad and note: the price, the warranty, the payment method and the delivery time. These are the benchmarks the customer will compare you with. How to read running time.

Practical steps and copy templates for an electronics store

  1. Pick one product and search for it in the library with the Saudi filter, sorted by longest running.
  2. Write in the ad what the buyer fears: the warranty, authenticity, exchanges, and who pays shipping on a return.
  3. Offer at least two ways to pay: cash on delivery for small items, instalments for anything above the median.
  4. Film the device working: the sound, the charging, the size in the hand.
  5. Get ready for the seasons: 11.11 on 11 November 2026, White Friday on 27 November 2026 (electronics lead it), and back to school in late August. The calendar is in Gulf ad seasons.
