Key takeaways
- Single-product-page platforms in Saudi Arabia: LightFunnels 1,613 ads from only 92 pages, YouCan 689 from 96, EasyOrders 888 from 103: few pages running many ads.
- Shopify is bigger (4,391 ads from 648 pages) but the least dropshipping-like: cash on delivery in only 9% against 41% on YouCan.
- What LightFunnels pages sell in Saudi Arabia: health and supplements first, then hair care, then electronics, skincare and perfume. The median advertised price is SAR 189.
- Common sourcing: AliExpress, CJdropshipping and local wholesalers, and the model that works in the Gulf is usually a small stock in a local fulfilment warehouse.
Where Saudi dropshippers sell: the numbers
There is no single "dropshipping site" everyone sells from. A dropshipper builds a product page on a platform and sends the ad to it. GccFY knows the platform behind each ad from the captured store page, so these are the four platforms that appear behind dropshipping ads in Saudi Arabia:
| Platform | Ads in Saudi Arabia | Advertiser pages | Video | Cash on delivery | "Order now" button | Median price (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LightFunnels | 1,613 | 92 | 81% | 26% | 41% | 189 |
| YouCan | 689 | 96 | 81% | 41% | 33% | 149 |
| EasyOrders | 888 | 103 | 81% | 12% | 70% | 139 |
| Shopify | 4,391 | 648 | 53% | 9% | 23% | 199 |
Read the "pages" column against the "ads" column: on LightFunnels only 92 pages run 1,613 ads, meaning a few advertisers launch many ads and test product after product. That is the shape of dropshipping. Shopify is the opposite: 648 pages, most of them ordinary stores with a range, and cash on delivery in only 9%. The full Gulf picture is in The GCC dropshipping market.
The four platforms: what each sells in Saudi Arabia
LightFunnels builds a single-product page (a sales funnel) and is used for dropshipping more than any other. In Saudi Arabia video is 81% of its ads, cash on delivery 26%, and the copy is short (a median of 44 words). What it sells:
Health and supplements, then hair care, then electronics, skincare and perfume: light products at one price around SAR 189 (half of the prices between 100 and 199). How to find these stores: LightFunnels stores.
YouCan is a Moroccan-founded platform popular for cash-on-delivery stores in the Arab world. In Saudi Arabia it is the highest in cash on delivery (41%) and free delivery (36%), and sells electronics, perfume and home. 285 of its 689 ads stated a price, with a median of SAR 149. Details in YouCan stores in the Gulf.
EasyOrders is popular for cash-on-delivery stores in Egypt and the Gulf, and its page is an order form: the "Order now" button is on 70% of its Saudi ads, and electronics is what it sells first. Shopify is used by the dropshipper who sells in several countries: of the Saudi Shopify ads, 806 also show in the UAE and 677 in Qatar, while Saudi LightFunnels ads hardly leave Saudi Arabia.
Where they buy: sourcing
Here we have no numbers, so we stick to what is widely known and open to everyone:
- AliExpress: the best-known source for international dropshipping: a huge catalogue, shipping from China that takes weeks, and prepayment to the supplier.
- CJdropshipping: a sourcing agent that bundles buying, packing and shipping in one place, used instead of hunting for a supplier per product.
- Local wholesalers: in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, and the wholesale markets of the Gulf: shipping in a day or two, a lower margin, and widely sold products.
- The local warehouse: the model we see behind most cash-on-delivery ads: the seller tests the product with ads, then places a small quantity in a fulfilment warehouse inside Saudi Arabia that handles delivery and cash collection.
The reason for the last model is plain in the numbers: cash on delivery is in 41% of YouCan ads and 26% of LightFunnels ads in Saudi Arabia, and it cannot be offered with weeks of shipping from abroad. The four models with their pros and cons are in Dropshipping in Saudi Arabia.
Is dropshipping allowed in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, selling online is allowed when it is done legally, and what is banned is selling prohibited goods or misleading ads, not the dropshipping model itself. The requirements as we explained them in Dropshipping in Saudi Arabia: a commercial registration or a freelance document, store authentication on the Business Platform (which replaced Maroof in 2023), compliance with the E-Commerce Law on disclosing your name, contact details and return terms, VAT, and product rules (cosmetics and supplements often need registration with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority). This is an overview, not legal advice, and requirements change.
Note that what LightFunnels pages in Saudi Arabia sell most is health and supplements, hair care and skincare: the categories that need registration and get the most ad rejections. The product that looks easiest in the funnel is the hardest on the rules.
How to find the dropshipping pages that have run for months in GccFY
What nobody sees: a page's sales and profit, they are private. What you do see: a page paying for the same ad for weeks, the most honest signal that the product sells. In GccFY:
- Pick the country Saudi Arabia, the store type LightFunnels (then repeat with YouCan and EasyOrders), status active, sort by longest running. That is the picture above.
- Open the captured store page behind each ad: the price, the quantity offer ("two for…"), cash on delivery, and the pixels installed on the page.
- In the Domains screen filter by LightFunnels and sort by most ads: each domain with its ads per country and the landing pages it advertises.
- Count the advertisers on the same product: three or more is a demand signal, and one running for months is a stronger one.
- Save what deserves it to a collection, and check the margin before importing anything.

And remember the method's limit: you know the page pays and keeps paying; you do not know how much it sells. Take the signal, not a number.
