Key takeaways
- AdSpy about $149 a month, Minea, BigSpy and Pipiads from about $49: the published October 2026 prices, for global markets first.
- Searching an Arabic word inside the ad text, a filter per Gulf country, and the store platform (Salla, Zid, Shopify): what the global tools lack.
- Meta's Ad Library is free and enough for following one advertiser; it cannot sort by running time or keep stopped ads.
- GccFY from $19 dollars a month, with 20 free searches a day and no card.
Why look for an alternative?
The first reason is price: a full AdSpy or Pipiads subscription equals a small store's ad budget. The second matters more: these tools were built for global dropshipping, so their index is English and their markets are the US and Europe; search "عطر" or "عباية" and you find little, you cannot narrow to Kuwait or Qatar, and you never see the Saudi store page behind the ad. The third is that most of them count "likes" and "shares" instead of the more honest signal: how many days an ad has run.
The free alternative: Meta's Ad Library
Before any subscription: the Facebook Ad Library is free and shows every active ad. It is enough if you follow one advertiser or search a word in one country. It fails you on three: no sort by running time (you read the dates one by one), it drops an ad when it stops (so you never learn what was tried and failed), and it gives no count for websites and no store page. The library's active ads counter and its limits.
The global alternatives: what they give, at what price
| Tool | Published price (October 2026) | Strength | Weakness in the Gulf |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minea | From about $49 a month | Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest, influencers, AI analysis | English index, no per-country Gulf filter, no store page |
| AdSpy | About $149 a month | The largest Facebook and Instagram archive, with comments | The priciest; weak Arabic search; does not tell Salla from Zid |
| BigSpy | From about $49 a month | Many platforms, a limited free plan | Thin Arabic coverage, sometimes stale data |
| Pipiads | From about $49 to $199 a month | TikTok first, global winning products | Nearly TikTok only; the Gulf is not its market |
| Foreplay | From about $49 a month | Saving and organising ads, writing briefs | An organiser, not a search; no Gulf data |
Prices as the sites themselves publish them; check before subscribing. The full comparison by criteria is in Ad spy tools, and the free official TikTok, Google and Snapchat libraries in Ad libraries compared.
The Gulf alternative: what differs

- Arabic first: an Arabic word searched inside the ad text ("عطر" finds "عطور" and "عطري"), and 1,240,000+ Arabic ads of Gulf stores.
- The six countries as filters, and the store platform (Salla, Zid, Shopify, YouCan, WooCommerce, EasyOrders, LightFunnels, WhatsApp).
- Longest running as a one-click sort, and stopped ads kept: you see what was tried and stopped.
- The store page captured behind every ad, and the pixels it carries.
- Advertisers and domains: the total ads and the ads running now for every page and every website.
- An AI helper that searches in your words and builds reports, and connects to Claude and Cursor through MCP (The AI helper).
From $19 dollars a month, and the free plan has 20 searches a day with no card. What it does not do: TikTok and Snapchat (they have their own free libraries), and markets outside the Gulf.
Which alternative fits you?
- You follow one competitor: the free Meta library.
- You sell in the Gulf in Arabic: a Gulf tool that understands the word, the country and the store.
- You sell globally in English: Minea or AdSpy, by budget.
- TikTok is your market: Pipiads or TikTok's free Creative Center.
- You need to organise what you collected: Foreplay, or the saved categories in your Gulf tool.
