- White Friday 2026: Friday 27 November 2026. Cyber Monday: 30 November. White Friday 2027: Friday 26 November 2027.
- Offers start a week or more before the date, ads launch in mid-November, and testing comes earlier, in late October and early November.
- On a normal day a discount is already in 38% of Gulf ads, and in Oman it reaches 46%: a White Friday discount has to be clearer and bigger.
- The categories that lead the season: electronics, perfumes, beauty and fashion; more than half of electronics ads mention a discount even outside the season.
The date: 27 November 2026, and what surrounds it
White Friday is the Gulf version of Black Friday, on the last Friday of November. This year: Friday 27 November 2026. Other occasions surround it, and the same buyer sees them in the same weeks:
| Occasion | Date | Start ads |
|---|---|---|
| 11.11 | 11 November 2026 | Early November |
| Oman National Day | 20 and 21 November | Mid-November |
| White Friday | Friday 27 November 2026 | Mid-November |
| Cyber Monday | 30 November 2026 | With White Friday |
| UAE National Day | 2 December | Late November |
In Oman and the UAE buyers see national day offers and White Friday offers back to back; plan one clear offer instead of overlapping ones (National day offers). And for next year: White Friday 2027 falls on Friday 26 November 2027. The full calendar is in Gulf ad seasons.
When do offers and ads start?
The date is one day, but the season is weeks. What Gulf stores usually do:
- Late October and early November: testing. Several ads on small budgets for one product with different angles, before ad costs rise.
- 11 November: a live test. 11.11 is a small discount season, especially in electronics and beauty; try the offer format you plan to use.
- Mid-November: launch. Offers start a week or more before White Friday, so launch the White Friday version of the winning ad.
- The week of 27 November: scale. The highest budget on the winner only, through Cyber Monday on 30 November, then stop the "White Friday" ads as soon as the offer ends.

The full week-by-week plan, with copy templates and the mistakes to avoid, is in White Friday 2026.
What each country's ads offer today
Before you decide your offer, know what buyers in your country see on a normal day. From our study of the newest 160,000 Arabic ads (2026-10-25 to 2026-11-06), before the season:
| Country | Discount or offer | "Limited time" | Free delivery | Cash on delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | 35% | 15% | 11% | 12% |
| UAE | 40% | 20% | 12% | 15% |
| Kuwait | 34% | 15% | 13% | 14% |
| Qatar | 34% | 14% | 14% | 17% |
| Bahrain | 33% | 15% | 18% | 20% |
| Oman | 46% | 24% | 18% | 27% |
How to read it: discounts are normal in every market, and most common in Oman and the UAE; so "discount" alone will not set you apart on White Friday, the number, its size and its end date will. Free delivery is more common in Bahrain and Oman than in Saudi Arabia, so there it is a condition, not an advantage. And across the Gulf:
Each offer and what it means, in Ad offers in numbers.
What sells on White Friday
The categories that lead the season are electronics, perfumes, beauty and fashion, the same categories where about half the ads or more mention a discount even on a normal day:
- Electronics: a discount in 58% of its ads today, cash on delivery in 39%.
- Fashion and shoes: a discount in 53%, "limited time" in 36%.
- Makeup: a discount in 51%, a gift with the order in 30%.
- Perfumes and incense: a discount in 49%, a gift in 18%.
In these categories saying "discount" is not enough: say how much, on what, and until when. In the categories that usually discount less (abayas 32%, kids 40%), a clear discount stands out more.
A short checklist for this week
- The date in the calendar: 27 November 2026, with offers from mid-November to 30 November.
- Product and offer: one or two products whose margin survives the discount after ad cost, shipping and returns.
- A real "before" price: the price you actually sold at, not one raised before the season.
- Stock and delivery: enough for two weeks, and a delivery promise you can keep.
- Competitors: save their first offers in a collection, and watch them daily in the week of the date.
- Test now: three angles on small budgets this week; the winner gets the season's budget.
